SUSTAINABLE SINCE DAY ONE
Arbikie Distillery is a genuine field to bottle operation. We create everything on-site, retaining the evocative taste of our unique environment at every step.
We grow our own crops. We are expanding our use of solar energy. Our primary waste products, where possible, are recycled as cattle feed or used as a natural fertiliser. Our distilling from start to finish uses negligible ‘food miles’ for its production.
GREEN HYDROGEN ENERGY
A Distillery Powered by the Future
At Arbikie, we take a unique approach. Steam is essential in distilling, but it’s often generated through unsustainable fossil fuels. With the addition of our new green hydrogen electrolyzer, Arbikie will become the world’s first climate-positive distillery. This technology allows us to produce zero carbon emissions during combustion without altering the spirit-making process. We’re installing this now to strengthen our commitment to becoming one of the most sustainable distilleries in the world.
