Francis is a leading figure amongst a group of painters labelled the 'New Scottish Colourists', and his vibrant and instantly recognisable paintings combine recognisable scenes with the colourful world of his imagination.
We specifically commissioned Francis Boag to paint a colourist interpretation depicting the view from our distillery towards Lunan Bay and the historic Red Castle.
The original artwork can be seen across the bottle label and accompanying box. Each bottle ordered arrives with a hand-signed print of the artwork.
This unique expression is matured in Charred American Oak and enriched in Calvados Barrels. Limited Edition with only 1,200 bottles.
