We combine our unique use of rye with new charred American oak, and leave this lively oak to do its magic.The result is a highly original whisky that fires the imagination and the senses with exciting flavours and aromas. The new charred American oak barrel complements the flavours of the rye, wheat and malted barley grains-imparting rich colour and deep flavour.

The journey of The Original Rye begins in our fields. We sow the crops from our land and this blend begins with Winter Rye (60%), Spring Malted Barley (25%), and Winter Wheat (15%).
APPEARANCE
Bright amber with golden hues.
ON THE NOSE
Malted cookies followed by dry orange peel, black tea, then spice and ripe fruits come to life.
THE FINISH
Peppery with toasted oak and an elastic body (column distillation gives an elongated finish).
